Chairman's Message

Friends:

As your Chairman, I want to welcome everyone to the Bloomingdale Township Republican Party. I would like emphasize some facts about your Bloomingdale Township GOP:

  • We believe that the Republican Party is a ‘big tent’ with room for a range of views and opinions. Healthy discussion and debate are, after all, the foundation of our democracy. What really counts is that we are all committed to the conservative principles of hard work, local control, personal accountability, respect for life, and the individual rights and freedoms that our nation was founded upon.
     

  • Our Precinct Committeemen are the front-line soldiers of our local GOP. Together with our local community, we work to advance candidates and causes that support Republican core values and the timeless ideals of America.
     

  • The term “Precinct Committeeman” is a little misleading; parts of our organization’s bedrock are our Precinct Committeewomen, like our departing Chairwoman Darlene Ruscitti. Darlene’s leadership has guided and grown our Township GOP, but now she moves on to her new post as the first female Chair of the DuPage County Republican Party. Our loss is DEFINITELY the County GOP’s gain.
     

  • We are extremely proud to have one of the highest percentages of voter-elected Precinct Committeemen in DuPage County. Combined with our Assistant Committeemen and Associates, our Precinct Committeemen are truly a grass-roots ‘force multiplier’ for conservative activism at the local, state, and national level.
     

  • Through our Bloomingdale Township Republican Headquarters located at 148C Lake Street, you can find campaign literature, signs, and information about Republican candidates and the upcoming election. No other Township GOP organization in our county has this kind of year-round ‘brick-and-mortar’ presence for meeting space, candidate support, and campaign activities.
     

  • We are currently growing our online presence as well. Watch for the ongoing expansion of our Bloomingdale Township GOP web site, as well as our premiere on Facebook and Twitter.
