Chairman's Message
Dear
Friends and Neighbors,
I would like to congratulate John Dabrowski who was recently
elected as our new township Chairman. I look forward to
continuing my involvement with John and the organization.
As I reflect on my tenure as the Chairman of the Bloomingdale
Township Republican Party, I first and most importantly want to
thank the Committeemen, Associates, Women's Club, Young
Republicans and all the voters who believe like I do in
democracy, freedom, and a better way of life. It is all of you
who are willing to step up to the plate on its' behalf. Thank
you.
We the people of BTRP are proud of the fact that we do not
endorse in the primary as we believe in choice and that each
committeemen knows its' precinct best. We believe that adults
don't always like to be told what to do.
I am also extremely proud of BTRP as an organization who works
on behalf of getting great candidates elected. In addition, we
are proud of the role we play in our communities supporting
businesses, families in need, charities, non for profits, and
other.
We the people of BTRP have a strong physical presence in our
communities not just through our community support but through
our Headquarters located at 148 C Lake St. There is no other
Republican Township in DuPage that has such a facility where in
an instance 25-50 people gather to put together signs, set up
for a meeting, stuff envelopes, or do the mundane work that
committeemen do to get Republicans elected.
There is no other Women's Club that has the stature that the
Bloomingdale Republicans Women's Club has anywhere in Illinois.
While most organizations women's clubs are collapsing, ours is
an integral part of our organization and in getting out the
vote.
BTRP has one of the highest number of elected committeemen. In
addition, we continue to pull in associates who support their
precincts and vote Republican!
The Bloomingdale Township Republicans can boast that out of all
the other townships, we raise the most dollars through our
annual Golf Outing.
Though we are not perfect, we have much to be proud. Our work is
collaborative, respectful, and hopefully motivational.
Future endeavors with our new chairman will include a greater
website presence and greater use of technology. This is not your
Grandpa's DuPage anymore and we need to do a better job in
outreach, as well.
As always, we welcome your ideas, comments, suggestions, and
yes, criticism.
God Bless all of you and God Bless America.
Darlene J. Ruscitti
Outgoing BTRP Chairman .
